Create a registry
1. Create a maven project first:

2. Create an eureka project:
Then
Click on the next step.
Import dependencies in pom after project creation: (generally after project creation)

Create an application.yml file and add the following configuration
server: port: 8761 spring: profiles: active: dev application: name: eurka-server eureka: instance: hostname: localhost client: registerWithEureka: false fetchRegistry: false serviceUrl: defaultZone: http://${eureka.instance.hostname}:${server.port}/eureka/
With the registry page in eureka, add the @Enable Eureka Server annotation as follows:
After startup, visit http://127.0.0.1:8761 and enter the registry:
